The idea of Treacle Tarts in our current incarnation was conceived in late 2010, and we first donned our clogs and started practising together in April 2011.
Based at the Bell and Jorrocks in Frittenden, Kent, home of the world famous Treacle Mines and Seven Champions Molly Dancers, we are a group of friends with varied dance experience, from total beginner to seasoned clogger, through border and other assorted forms of dance and performance!
Our common aim is to entertain and have fun whilst keeping alive the art of traditional (and not so traditional...) Step Clogging.
